Running with shoes was a craze which started about 10 years ago and continued a few years. The idea grew to be really popular but faded away equally as quick as it emerged. It was dependant upon the concept that running shoes aren't useful to you and that running with out them is much more natural and more effective for you. There was a great deal of books published on this, plenty of websites encouraging the promises and plenty of social media activity proclaiming the presumed benefits. Barefoot running is simply different to using running shoes. Ever since the barefoot fad died off, there was clearly a move to much more very cushioned running shoes. This was the contrary to the novelty of barefoot and it too got termed as a fad. However, presently you won't notice any signs of that trend to the high padded running shoes dropping off, so it is most likely pretty sure that its really not a fad but a long-term trend. Running barefoot or with traditional running shoes or with maximum cushioned running shoes are just distinct. One is not better than the other and individual athletes are going to have their personal inclinations in regards to what they like to run in which is okay.
